Position: Full-Time Developmental English Instructor (2 positions)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in English, Composition/Rhetoric, OR, MFA in Creative Writing (at least nine graduate hours in composition/rhetoric studies).
• At least three years of successful teaching at the college level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional graduate coursework in developmental writing or developmental writing pedagogy and at least one year of documented experience in teaching developmental students in a college setting. A documented interest and/or work in Writing Across the Curriculum, students with disabilities, or ESL initiatives is also desirable.
• Experience with outcomes assessment in the workplace.

Status/Salary: This is a regular full-time faculty position with salary to be determined by placement on the faculty salary schedule commensurate with education and experience
